My name is Richard and I was born a Jehovah’s Witness. I grew up in a broken family with my parents divorced and several of my family members, “disfellowshipped.” To be disfellowshipped means that you are completely shunned. As a result my relationship with these shunned family members was either severely scarred or completely broken. I was baptized as a Witness in 2001 at the age of twelve and I continued to believe until I was 26 years old. I pioneered for a year and attended a Pioneer School hosted by a District and Circuit Overseer.
The goal of my blog is to help others who are still in the Organization to reason, and to either deal with their doubts or to develop some. Watchtower is a very dangerous group, and I hope to help as many as I can. Personally, I do not believe there is a God. I would never just claim there isn’t one, I just don’t believe one exists. I have no intention of pushing this view on anyone else however, which is why this blog will not deal with the subject of God’s existence. Here, we will only deal with the subject of Watchtower’s, “Truth.”
